PonyTowel® Usage Instructions

Many of these steps are fluid and overlapping. We broke them up to help you better understand the process initially. Once you get the hang of it, this will take about a minute to put in, and will save you countless minutes of drying your hair over the long term use of your PonyTowel®

Please head over to our Instagram @PonyTowel for videos on these instructions and how to use and other fun ways and ideas on how to use your PonyTowel®!

1. Unfold the roll at the top so it’s longer and flatter.  Send hand through the split opening and insert hand Placing elastic end of PonyTowel® around the fingers of the hand you would normally pull your hair into a ponytail with the spilt opening on the top of your hand.

2.  Send the tail of the PonyTowel® over the top of your arm with the tail of the towel hanging towards your elbow.

3.  Gather hair and pull hair through the elastic opening just once, like you would any hair tie.  Do not try to double over the elastic around the hair. Once pulled through, keep your less dominant (the non twisting hand) at the base of the PonyTowel® to ensure it won’t slip down your hair.

4.  Take the the split opening and close it pulling one side (this will determine which direction you will naturally twist the right or the left)

*If twisting to the right take the left side of the  split and overlapping the right making sure the hair is enclosed in the wrap. And just opposite if you will be twisting with the left hand.

5.  Once the hair is enclosed, wrap the tail around the remaining hair.

6.  With the your hand still at the base, use your dominant hand to twist, starting at the base and slowly moving down the towel tail (2-3 twists should do the trick).

7.  Final step - as you are twisting you may notice it wanting to swirl, allow it to do so.

Continue to swirl the remainder of the untwisted PonyTowel® tail to one point (this works best if you have overlapped it in step 4.

Wrap it and concentrate on hanging on to one corner of the tail or the PonyTowel® as long as it pulled tight, there should not be a need to try to push in to tuck the end. It will slide in and tuck and stay secure. (Use the bulk of the end of the tail of the towel if you want a looser, less secure finishing hold)
